Inside this review
Choose King or Twin explicitly
The current official site offers Superior King, Superior Twin, Deluxe King and Deluxe Twin categories. The twin descriptions specify two single beds and the king descriptions a king-size bed. All are presented as private guestrooms, with the hotel describing en suite rain-head showers, a refrigerator and flat-screen television as room features.
The official category text calls the Deluxe accommodation more spacious but does not supply a dependable comparative area on the page reviewed. It would be misleading to manufacture a size difference from the names alone. If space is decisive, ask about the selected category’s floor plan rather than relying on “Deluxe” as a universal measurement. A traveller sharing with a friend can resolve the more basic issue immediately by choosing Twin instead of assuming a double can be rearranged.
The rooftop is a reason to return between outings
The hotel describes an outdoor rooftop pool with city views and publishes separate room-only and breakfast-inclusive offers. That distinction matters: the existence of a breakfast service does not mean every room rate includes it. A traveller who likes having an easy breakfast before an excursion can compare the meal-inclusive offer with a room-only booking and nearby alternatives.
The rooftop gives the stay a different rhythm from a guesthouse used only as a bed. Returning for a swim between the eastern old-town temples and an evening around Tanee Road is a plausible way to use the hotel. It is a shared pool, however, not a private facility attached to every room or a riverfront terrace. The Arabian design is an interior theme rather than a promise of a different geographical setting.
Guest detail adds context to the décor
A Superior Twin guest who stayed in September 2025 praised cleanliness, shower pressure, staff and the decorative character. They described breakfast as straightforward but sufficient. Another Superior Twin guest in December 2025 also praised daily room cleaning while finding breakfast limited and the air conditioner noisy. Those two accounts show how similar facilities can satisfy one visitor and leave another wanting more.
A Deluxe King guest in November 2025 described a spacious room with two large windows and reliable hot water, while cautioning that a light sleeper might prefer somewhere quieter. A February 2026 Superior King guest praised the helpful staff and location. These are dated guest observations, not a promise that every room has the same windows, sound level or water pressure. They make the useful comparison more specific than a generic claim that all rooms are quiet.
Tanee Road as an old-town starting point
The verified hotel address is 110 Tanee Road, Talat Yot. This is a Khao San-side base rather than a property at a rail station or directly beside Wat Phra Kaew. For the temple collection, group nearby old-town sights sensibly and allow separate travel for Wat Pho, the palace compound and the Wat Arun river crossing.
Dewan is especially worth comparing if the room’s design and access to a shared rooftop pool will add something to your stay. A visitor who plans to be out all day may place more weight on bed setup and sleep than on the rooftop. Someone planning a slower afternoon break can make fuller use of the hotel. The deciding details are the chosen King or Twin category, actual room position and meal inclusion, with older guest accounts used as questions to investigate rather than guarantees of today’s conditions.
