Choose the bath and the room together

The official Superior is 25 square metres with king or twin beds and a whirlpool bath designed for one person. The Deluxe increases the room to 30 square metres and the bath to a two-person arrangement. A couple planning to use the bath together therefore has a concrete reason to compare Deluxe with Superior, even though both are advertised with private bathing.

The Premier is listed at 40 square metres with a king bed, the largest two-person bath and a separate rain shower. That separates a quick shower from a longer soak and provides substantially more floor space than the entry category. It is a more coherent upgrade for someone expecting to spend part of the holiday in the room than for a traveller who mainly needs somewhere to sleep.

The Superior description also specifies a see-through bathroom and two decorative styles, Modern Dark or Colonial Bright. A private bathroom does not automatically mean the visual privacy preferred by two friends or relatives sharing. Before selecting a twin, consider the bathroom arrangement alongside the beds. The hotel’s romantic styling may appeal strongly to a couple while being less comfortable for a different sharing arrangement.

Shared rooftop swimming is a separate benefit

The hotel publishes a rooftop pool and fitness room. The pool is shared, while the whirlpool bath is a room feature; the two are not interchangeable amenities. A visitor can return for a swim after an outing and still choose a smaller room if the private bath’s size is not important. Conversely, a larger bath may be the main reason to spend more on the room.

A July 2026 Superior King family guest liked the neighbourhood restaurants and pool but felt the room was beginning to look dated, particularly noting noisy air conditioning. A September Superior King guest, by contrast, found their room near the lift quiet. Their accounts concern different sources of sound and different stays. Neither justifies calling the entire hotel universally noisy or silent.

A May 2026 Premier couple praised the large room, staff and breakfast. A May Deluxe King solo guest also liked the bedroom and staff, while finding the busy tourist neighbourhood less suitable for deep relaxation. These examples help separate the room’s appeal from the surrounding area. It is possible to enjoy the hotel and still prefer a different district for an extended quiet retreat.

A northern old-town stay with a clear purpose

The official address is 272–274 Samsen Road, Samsen Soi 2 in Phra Nakhon. Khao San is the useful evening reference point, not a claim that the hotel is inside the busiest section of the road itself. Wat Ratchanatdaram and Wat Saket make an eastern temple outing; the palace temple and Wat Pho lie in another direction and require their actual visitor access arrangements.

This is a convincing option if a private whirlpool and some time at the hotel are part of the holiday. If the room will be empty from early morning until late evening, compare whether the bath and larger floor plan will actually be used. Friends should give the bathroom’s visual arrangement particular attention. Couples should compare the one-person Superior bath with the two-person Deluxe and Premier options rather than assuming the same experience at every rate.
