Inside this review
The current names describe beds as well as design
The official website describes Blue Heritage as a double room with a king bed, Amazing Indo-China as a twin with two singles, and Chinese Inspired as a family room with two king beds. Each is described with air conditioning and a private shower bathroom. Those distinctions are more actionable than simply choosing whichever photograph looks most atmospheric.
Booking platforms may still display Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twin labels, as recent guest accounts do. Do not assume that an old platform label corresponds to a particular new design name without checking the selected offer. For friends, two real single beds matter; for a family, the advertised two-king arrangement is a different proposition from adding a temporary third bed to a double room.
Dining and entertainment are integrated into the stay
The property publishes Courtyard as an all-day dining restaurant, Fu Bar with evening live music, and a pool bar. A stay can therefore include time at the hotel beyond sleeping, with food and entertainment close at hand. This is a useful fit for visitors who enjoy returning from sightseeing to a lively common setting.
The same feature changes expectations about silence. The official room description uses a quiet-street-view phrase, but a view label cannot guarantee that evening sound will not be audible. Someone booking for an early temple morning should think about room position and sleep needs alongside the appeal of having music and drinks on site.
Guest experiences differ sharply on sleep and comfort
A guest in a Deluxe Double Room in April 2026 described the room as comfortable and the location as convenient. A May 2026 twin-room guest praised helpful recommendations and the surrounding restaurants. These are concrete reasons the hotel can suit visitors who want to step out into a busy area without organising every evening meal in advance.
A solo guest in a Deluxe Double in June 2026, however, described the room as very noisy. An August double-room account also reported an air-conditioning problem. These are individual experiences rather than a current engineering assessment, but they are too relevant to sleep to ignore. Positive location feedback does not cancel out a room-specific comfort concern; it explains why guests with different priorities can reach different conclusions.
A base for outings, not a doorstep for every temple
The official address is 98 Chakrabongse Road in Talat Yot. Khao San and Rambuttri are useful evening reference points, while Phra Athit provides a river-side direction. The palace temple, Wat Pho and the eastern temples such as Wat Saket require their own routes. “Old town” describes a district of visits rather than a single cluster immediately outside the lobby.
Baan Chart is consequently strongest for travellers who want restaurants, nightlife and a characterful hotel to be part of the holiday. It is less obviously suited to someone whose overriding requirement is a quiet, insulated room. Compare the actual bed setup, category mapping and likely room position before deciding. That produces a more reliable choice than assuming that either its boutique styling or a single enthusiastic review guarantees the same stay for everyone.
