Inside this review
Use the current name and correct lane
Booking.com identifies the property as Aim House Bangkok No Parking at 95/99 Soi Charoen Nakhon 14. Agoda’s current listing uses Aim House Bangkok Hotel - No Parking, although its older web address retains an OYO reference. The matching property identity is more useful than reading an old URL as a current branding statement.
The lane address places the stay in Khlong San on the west side of the river. It should not be confused with a hotel at Sathorn on the opposite bank, nor with accommodation in Bangkok’s historic temple quarter. Visitors arriving with a car have a concrete reason to plan a different parking arrangement instead of treating generic older amenity listings as decisive.
What is advertised inside the room
Agoda’s property information lists air-conditioned accommodation with a refrigerator, safe and private shower bathroom. Those are the useful basics for a room used between outings. The property description also refers to room outlooks, but that does not establish a river view or balcony in every category.
Orbitz lists Standard Double and Standard Twin at 183 square feet, with Deluxe Double, Deluxe Twin and Premier Double at 269 square feet. That is a material space difference, even before comparing decor. A traveller sharing with a friend should select the twin arrangement deliberately; a higher room label should not be read as an extra bedroom or a river balcony.
Cleanliness is the strongest recent guest point
A Hotels.com guest review dated 3 January 2026 described the room as spotless. That gives a specific positive signal about the room supplied for that stay, rather than a guarantee of identical upkeep throughout the property. The available account did not securely identify the room category.
An Expedia guest review dated 1 August 2026 liked the availability of breakfast shops and convenience stores nearby, as well as access towards ICONSIAM. This is useful because it describes how a guest used the neighbourhood. It does not establish that breakfast is included at Aim House or that the hotel provides a dedicated transfer to the shopping complex.
A less favourable Orbitz account by marion, dated 20 December 2025 after two nights, praised staff, room space and Wi-Fi but reported cracks in the walls and ceiling and a need for cosmetic work. That distinguishes cleanliness from finish: a room can be clean for one guest while another notices worn surfaces. It is an individual room account, not a structural assessment of the building.
Another Orbitz guest, Duong, reviewing a three-night January 2026 stay, liked the cleanliness and service but mentioned mosquitoes in the room. This does not establish a hotel-wide pest problem. It is a concrete comfort issue to weigh alongside the positive clean-room accounts, especially for a visitor sensitive to bites.
The neighbourhood is part of the stay
For a temple visit, the hotel remains a transport base. Wat Arun, Wat Kalayanamit and Wat Paknam are separate trips rather than one continuous hotel walking route. An appealing room rate here should therefore be compared with the daily sightseeing pattern, especially if the visit is short and most time will be spent in the old city.
The strongest match is a visitor travelling without a car who values a clean room and the Charoen Nakhon neighbourhood. The current No Parking name should be taken seriously. The recent positive room and local-food accounts provide reasons to consider the property, while leaving view, exact bedding and any breakfast inclusion to the actual category and rate being offered.
